Greg McCrimmon

Greg discovered his love and passion for the outdoors in the wilderness of Northern Michigan where he was raised. His grandfather was responsible for introducing him to the sport of fishing and hunting at a young age, and those sacred traditions have only grown and developed since that first cast of a rod and the first release of a bowstring. He feels incredibly blessed and fortunate to have been raised amongst such fabled waters as the Au Sable, Manistee, Jordan, Pere Marquette, and Boardman just to name a few; but it wasn’t until he and his wife, April, moved to Colorado in 2007 that he found his true passion in fly fishing.

For Greg, fly fishing is so much more than just simply fishing. It’s the adventure it leads you on, the amazing people you meet and share this common passion with, the stories told for years to come, the beauty and simplicity of just being out in God’s Creation, and the honor and responsibility of passing it on to the next generation.

Fly fishing has taken Greg all over the world into some of the most beautiful places on the planet. He has made friends wherever he’s gone and to him, which truly keeps him returning to these places as much as the fish and rivers by themselves. While he has certainly loved every place he has fished, there’s still something about remote creeks in the Rocky Mountain West full of native trout that holds a very special place in his heart.

When he’s not fly fishing, Greg is usually trying to convince his wife to go fishing. It’s not uncommon to see Greg, April, and their adventurous black lab, Hoyt, casting flies on a remote Colorado creek on any given summer day.

He guides trips in Colorado, including Rocky Mountain National Park, and hosts multi-day specialty trips throughout the state and beyond. Greg is also a passionate writer and photographer and has been published in fly fishing publications over the years.

Fishing guide Robbie

Robbie

I have been hunting and fishing since my youth, and within the last few years, I have picked up a fly rod and not looked back. I love chasing native trout throughout high alpine lakes as well as small mountain streams, creeks, and beaver ponds. My additional hobbies include anything outdoors, especially hunting, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and (of course) fly fishing. I love staying in top shape in the gym. I would love to work with those new to the sport and share my passion for helping and teaching others.

Fishing guide James

James

I’m an avid outdoorsman; fly fisherman, big game hunter, bird hunter, and mountaineer. My love for the outdoors has led me to pursue a side career as a fly fishing guide. I was sponsored by Pflueger and Fenwick in college. I'm a Christian, father of, soon to be 3, children, and husband to an amazing wife. I'm also an EMT, Colorado State University graduate, Regis University PharmD graduate, and PGY1 resident at Denver Health training to become an Emergency Medicine Pharmacist. You’ll be in great hands with me while in the mountains or backcountry.
